‘A Grand Complication’ is my attempt at reconciliation with all of the things I am unable to accept to this day – time’s ceaseless march, unrequited love, the inevitability of loss.. to name but a few. Think what would it feel like to watch a Studio Ghibli take on narratives such as Alan Wake or Elden Ring. Largely unfinished, what is available to me in terms of narrative is blurry at best.
Still, please allow me this luxury of trying. Stories is how we make sense of life. Whether good or bad, one thing remains true – they ought to be shared with the rest of the world. This one has been stewing in my mind for a number of years now. It’s time we let it out, see if it can stand on it’s own, or be swept away by the cold current of the River of Oblivion.
And just because all of what I publish here is free of charge, that doesn’t make it immune to commentary or even criticism. So, do your worst (be kind)!
