Hey,
Earlier today, the company I work for closed its first-ever office after 20 years.
Starting on Monday, a newer, bigger building, a terra incognita. The announcement made a lot of people visibly emotional during the party.
For many of them, this change is sudden and cruel.
Some ended up drinking themselves blind, while I – a mere observer – kept smiling at anyone who clinked glasses with me.
After a short walk through London city’s busy streets, I realised yet again, how important it is for me to avoid public spaces during holidays.
Almost every pub and fast food joint between Tower Hill and Barbican overflowed with visitors. People were lining up all the way to the edges of the pavement.
I write because I thought of you recently and felt an urge to tell you, that I hope you’re doing well.
After a global pandemic of a vicious respiratory virus, the last thing we needed is a war on European soil.
Why, of course, every one of us needs his/her daily life full of upsetting news…
I hope that the current situation isn’t preventing you and the people you love from making near-future plans.
The Met office forecast promises good weather ahead and my mind is set on taking full advantage of this.
I cannot guarantee that I won’t write to you again someday. I hope this doesn’t upset you.
